Andar Bahar Guide: From the Middle Card to a Matching Rank

One Reference Rank Sets the Round

Inside pile Outside pile One matching rule lets you follow the whole deal. Identify the reference rank, then watch the alternating piles. Check which side starts and what the table pays before making a selection.

Four Parts of the Dealing Procedure

  • Establish the Reference: The dealer exposes a card from the deck. Its rank becomes the target, often labelled the middle or joker card.
  • Select the Side: Choose the side you expect to receive the matching rank first. Check its stake and payout before the deal.
  • Follow the Alternation: Further cards go to the two sides in turn, following the starting order specified by the table.
  • Recognise the Match: The first matching rank ends the main comparison. Payment follows the table rules; old streaks cannot predict the next matching side.
