Learn which Teen Patti hand outranks which before a showdown. These categories follow the source’s standard order. Check Ace sequences, ties and wild-card variations at the actual table.
Taking the Pot
At a showdown, the highest eligible three-card holding takes the pot under the table rules. A round can also finish when the other players fold, so learning rankings is a starting point rather than the whole betting procedure.

- Trail — Three Matching Ranks: All three cards share a rank. In the listed order, three Aces are strongest and three Twos weakest.
- Straight Flush — A Suited Run: Three consecutive ranks in one suit qualify. Confirm the table’s ordering of Ace-containing sequences.
- Straight — An Unsuited Run: The ranks are consecutive but the suits do not all match; A♠–K♥–Q♦ illustrates this category.
- Flush — One Suit: Three suited cards that do not make a run, such as K♠–J♠–2♠, belong here.
- Pair — Two Matching Ranks: Two equal-rank cards form the pair. If players share the same pair rank, compare the remaining card according to the tie rules.
- No Higher Combination: Without a pair or stronger category, compare the highest card and any required remaining kickers under the table rules.
